My Story
I was born and raised in Dixon, Illinois. I grew up raising Hereford cattle on my family's cattle operation, Biggs Polled Herefords, a 50-head cow-calf operation This is where this crazy journey and passion started. Growing up I was heavily involved in 4-H, the Illinois Junior Hereford Association and the National Junior Hereford Association. Through my involvement in these organizations and showing cattle at county, state and national shows, I developed a passion not only for Hereford cattle but as an advocate for the agriculture industry.

I attended Dixon High School and graduated in 2020. During my time at DHS, I was involved in everything from being Student Council President to the school mascot, The Duchess. But my favorite position was being the Editor-in-Chief of our school yearbook and newspaper. This is where I developed a passion for design, photography and journalism.

This leads me to where I am today. I am currently studying at Kansas State University where I am majoring in Agricultural Communications with double minors in Animal Sciences and Industry and Mass Communications. After obtaining my degree I plan to pursue a career in Agricultural Communications, helping to increase transparency between producers and consumers and hopefully bridging the gap between farm to fork.

I started showing cattle at age seven, with a heifer called "Magic Mocha." Years later, I have made some of the best memories, and greatest friends (both 2 and 4 legged).
I owe everything to the people who have helped me along the way, (specifically the ones in the back of this photo).
My heart could not beat any harder for these red and white cattle.
I graduated from Dixon High School in 2020. We were the home of the Dukes and Duchesses. I was the school mascot, The Duchess, my senior year and though the costume was not the most fashionable, it was sure fun!
I decided I would always bleed purple and white, and currently spend most of my time in Manhattan, Kansas, where I am attending Kansas State University, pursuing a degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism.
